Snakes have 2 sets of eyes, one that sees color pretty well and one set that pick up infrared imagery so there is no escaping these bastards at night.
Different birds see differently. Pigeons, for example, can see millions of different hues and will shit on your head if provoked. Their vision has nothing to do with the fact that they don’t move out of the way until the very last second.
Cats have pretty weak vision and rely on their sense of taste and smell to navigate, hunt, and annoy the shit out of me. Cats are also colorblind because God does not like them either.
Horses have amazing, perfect vision except for right in front of them, they have a blind spot right down the middle of their field of vision, giving them binocular vision. Mr Ed was constantly bitching about this terrible inconvenience.
Monkey’s are cool. I want one.
Popular belief held that flies would see thousands of the same image because they have thousands of lenses -this is not true. Flies actually see things very blurry because they are so damn fast.*
*I completely made that up.
