This compact house named the Cube at the University of Hertfordshire is designed by Dr Mike Page and his team, which can provide everything that one person might need with a minimum impact on the environment. Solar powered 27 cubic meters (3x3x3) house includes a lounge with a table and two chairs, a small double bed, a full-size shower, a kitchen with energy-efficient fridge, induction hob, etc., and a composting toilet.
