American Idol Kellie Pickler or Kelly Pickler is an alum of American Idol Season 5. Kelly Pickler’s elimination from American Idol Season 5 was unexpected. American Idol Season 5 Kelly Picker was never on the bottom three before her elimination. She was part of the most controversial season of American Idol wherein Chris Daughtry was also eliminated. Kelly Pickler and Chris Daughtry were both doing well on the show when they got kicked off American Idol Season 5. As an American Idol alum, Kelly Pickler came out on American Idol April 8, 2009 episode singing her hit song Best Days of Your Life.

Kellie Pickler’s flirty relationship with Simon Cowell during the fifth season of “American Idol” certainly raised a lot of eyebrows, especially when the controversial judge referred to the blonde belle as a “naughty minx.” At the time tabloid reports even suggested that their bonding caused problems with Cowell’s then-girlfriend Terri Seymour — thus it’s no wonder Pickler is feeling both nervous yet excited about making a guest appearance on the FOX show this Wednesday night.

“I haven’t seen Paula, Randy or Simon since I was last on Idol,” Pickler told Tarts on Sunday. “But everyone keeps saying that it’s easier for me going back on and not being judged, but everybody judges me. It’s harder — there are higher expectations now.”

On her return to American Idol Kellie said, “Going back to American Idol is like going to a family reunion, well, it’s more fun than going to my family reunions,” she laughed. “Seriously, it’s always great to see the gang and feel the excitement from the contestants. And, I’m thrilled to be singing “Best Days of Your Life” which is a blast to perform,” she continued.

Kellie Pickler is the self-titled second album of country music artist Kellie Pickler. It was released on September 30, 2008 on BNA Records. The lead-off single, “Don’t You Know You’re Beautiful”, reached #21 on the Hot Country Songs charts. “Best Days of Your Life” (a song she co-wrote with fellow country singer Taylor Swift) was released December 1, 2008 as the album’s second single.

Kellie Pickler also includes a re-recorded version of “Didn’t You Know How Much I Loved You”, which was previously included on Pickler’s 2006 debut album Small Town Girl. “Lucky Girl” was previously co-written and recorded by Catherine Britt on her third full-length studio album Little Wildflower.
