Lynea Lattanzio Is Not a Cat Lady
Seriously, does this look like a cat lady to you?

Okay, maybe. But Lynea Lattanzio is actually the founder of a no-cage, no-kill shelter in Northern California called The Cat House On The Kings. While there are dogs on her property, Cat House is essentially a feline farm where animals go to live in the closest thing to an Animal Kingdom commune. Lattanzio has cared for over 16,000 cats and, um, apparently she’s witnessed them “climb trees,” a visual that — my not being a cat person, per se — kiiiiind of creeps me out. Nevertheless, the lady does amazing things, and her heart is obviously in the right place.Someone made a video introducing Lattanzio to the world, and luckily for us, the synthesized clarinet instrumentals combined with Lattanzio’s cat eye sweatshirt and the insane number of cats pussyfooting around (pun totally intended) makes for the best not-actual-mockumentary ever.(Update: A commenter alerts us that the soundtrack is provided by none other than The Talking Heads, which somehow makes the video even better.)
