Russia’s Air Force One – special plane for the Russian President
Ilyshin-96-300 aircraft, Russian incumbent president’s new plane, is purchased at the beginning of the Second Term of Putin Administration.
It’s decorated by the British company Diamonite Aircraft Furnishings, a total cost of ten million pounds.
Unlike the gorgeous modern style of U.S. presidential plane, Russian presidential plane is more classic and elegant.
The value of the Ilyshin-96 of Yeltsin times is at about three hundred million U.S. dollars, forty million in it is for internal decoration. The plane has two floors and there are two bedrooms, shower room, lounge, conference room, and treatment room. Now, this aircraft had become the President Vladimir Putin’s standby aircraft.
