Scientists discovered the largest whale shark population so far
In 2009 scientists discovered the largest whale shark population so far in the waters of Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula. According to the air and water surface observations, at least 420 whale sharks were gathering together to enjoy the eggs that tuna just spawned. These photos were taken from a small airplane, which showed a ship surrounded by sharks.
Four ships moving cautiously, so as not to disturb the whale sharks.
It revealed a new spawning ground of tuna and also made scientists to understand a new phenomenon of the behavior of whale shark.

The whale sharks gather together in east coast of Mexico every summer, such activities are predictable, for the rest of the time, however, it is still a mystery that where they are.
