“Sexy” sumo wrestler car model
Fine car with beauties is definitely the perfect combination, but shortly before the commercials of a Japanese brand vehicles did exactly the opposite, they used some sumo wrestlers as car models. According to the manufacturers, there’re three reasons for choosing sumo wrestlers. First, they wanna re-define the concept of the "sexy" by this advertisement; second, it can impress the strong characteristics of the car; third is to show the spacious and comfortable space of the car. However, in my view, the real idea of the Japanese car dealer simply wants to attract more attention through such off-the-wall idea. It’s an ordeal for our nerves to see these "coquettish" car models.
Sumo is traditional Japanese form of wrestling, for many people in Japan it is synonymous with their culture. In general every sumo wrestler is large and firm-fleshed and just wears traditional loin cloths. Although some people suggested allowing shy young wrestlers to wear pants instead of the loin cloths over the recent years, but the guardians of the ancient Japanese sport of sumo rebuffed the attempts already.
