I really do hope that photographers ignore anorexic people in the future, and pay no attention to those people. this skinny culture is wrong! girls (or guys fyi) that are this thin/skinny, are ugly, and it’s very bad for their health too… professional models need to have a healthy BMI-rating in this country (Body Mass Index Rating measures length and weight in a formula, the output for a normal person is between X? and X?)

Why do overweight women make these photoshopped images and then post them as if they’re real to horrify everyone into thinking that models are sickly looking? I’m sorry women but men like slim, in shape women. Not fat or chubby women. No matter how many of these ridiculous photos you post.
These are photographs from a german artist, she called these pictures “32kg”. She made photographs of normal-weight women and used photoshop to make them skinny until they don’t lossk really human anymore.

All who say this is fake and Photoshopped, I’m sorry to say you’re wrong. I wish it was Photoshopped, but this is a real girl and that is her real body. Anorexia is a terrible and miserable disorder. Those who are anorexic can not see how thin they are; their minds are poisoned with the sad thought that they are always fat and ugly, so they starve themselves; they refuse to eat, they workout constantly – they can’t understand how thin they really are. Here’s a song about it. Courage by Superchick. And, Jorn, they are not ugly. They are simply unnaturally thin and cannot help it. A lot of people aren’t strong enough to overcome it on their own, but they won’t ask for help.
I’ve seen anorexic people before. This is not Photoshopped, I wish it was, but it’s not.

It is photoshopped. It was a colleague of mine’s project, which got leaked onto the internet and blown way out of proportion with all the hype about anorexia going on at the time. These photo’s are actually about 5/6 years old, and although they are based on a real person with anorexia they are severely manipulated. Anyone with a basic knowledge of photo manipulation could tell, although this one is done very subtly. Look at the curvature of the arms and length of the limbs and you’ll see the surreality of it.
