The Swirls and Waves of Antelope Canyon
The slot canyons that make up Antelope Canyon in Arizona are formed from erosion caused by flash floods and windswept sand. As you can see from this Environmental Graffiti post by Karl Fabricius, the scene is majestic.
Gaze for too long at these rock formations, and you begin to drift off and forget whether you’re looking at a geological phenomenon or a vast, abstract oil painting. The swirls seem to envelop you, and in Antelope Canyon they actually do.
