The Pong Clock
The dutch design company Buro Vormkrijgers has designed a clock which uses the popular videogame Pong to show the time. A random game of Pong is played, and when it’s time to change minutes or hours, one of the two sides will score, thus changing the score and the time. This has got to be one of the most inventive ways of using Pong ever!

Fruit Powered Clock – It’s Alive!
The fruit clock is a digital clock/calendar powered by fruit. While emulating the original battery invented by Alessandro Volta over 200 years ago that utilized lemon juice, the creation of whole fruit in the mid-1900s has allowed the experiment to be perfected with artistic flare.
The alarm clock makes you solve arithmetic operations before it will turn off
"I had trouble waking up for work, and traditional alarm clocks didn’t seem to help. I learned to hit the snooze or off buttons in my sleep. The problem was that alarms are too easy to turn off, and so I set forth to create an alarm clock that challenges me to prove that I am awake.
How should it challenge me? Well, I’m from a math background, so the natural choice is with arithmatic. A problem like 23*17 + 6 will keep me thinking for at least 20 seconds; if the alarm clock makes me solve five in a row, then it can be sure I’m awake. There’s no way I can learn to do this in my sleep."
This PIC-based alarm clock makes you solve arithmetic operations before it will turn off. The design is free and open source and is powered by a PIC16 microcontroller, which manages the user interface and keeps time. It displays the current time and the arithmetic challenge via a cheap lcd from all electronics.
Jack Bauer`s clock –

Googly eye clock
Here’s a fun way to keep track of time. Designer Mike Mak’s Eyeclock tells time with a pair of slowly rotating disks that look like cartoon eyeballs.
The position of the left eyeball signifies hours, while the right one is minutes. Depending on the time of day, the eyes might be looking up (like at high noon), down (6:30), right (9:45) or left (3:15). The wackiest times of day are probably 3:45 and 6:00, although 3:50 is a pretty goofy time too

Giant Led Clock
Most of us have moved on from compact discs to digital media players these days, but that doesn’t mean that we don’t still have to find a place to store our old CD collection, right?
This ingenious storage system doubles as a giant LED clock, so you’ll actually be getting some utility out of an otherwise single-purpose bookshelf. The oversize clock conceals red 7-segment LED displays for each digit in the edges of the storage cubes.
Measuring in at a 28″ (w) x 14″ (h) x 5″ (d), you certainly won’t miss the time on this clock.
There isn t much information available regarding how this was built, just this:TX54 is a disposable timepiece that is worn on the user’s thumbnail. While its translucency makes it blend seamlessly with the hand, a selection of text color options and a glow feature that activates on command make it easy to read.
Fully functioning Clock made of old bicycle Parts
Edison once said that to invent you need good imagination and a pile of junk. The designers took his advice seriously
This “Bike clock” was built by Yedidya Vardi and Vladimir Zviagintsev, and it is on display at the Vardi Center for the Development of the Gifted in Israel.
